Studio Policies

Please review before booking. You’ll be asked to acknowledge these policies when scheduling. If anything is unclear, just reach out — I'm happy to talk through anything.

  • Life happens, but out of respect for everyone's time, I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or reschedules. A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot, and missed sessions or last-minute cancellations will be charged in full. If you booked with a package or membership, the session will be deducted.

Emergencies are always considered with care — just let me know what's going on. All fees must be cleared before you can rebook.

  • Please text me if you're running behind. I’ll do my best to adjust, but sessions still end at the originally scheduled time to stay on track for the next client.

If you're more than 20 minutes late, the session will be canceled and considered a no-show. Repeated late arrivals may require future sessions to be prepaid in full.

  • This is a professional business. Draping is required when undressed — this is not only standard practice but also required by Georgia law. If anything ever feels off or unclear, I want you to feel comfortable speaking up.

Any inappropriate remarks or behavior will result in the immediate end of the session and full payment will still be required. I reserve the right to contact authorities if needed.

  • Cupping may leave visible marks — that’s totally normal and part of the therapeutic process. They’re not bruises or permanent and typically fade in a few days. To support your body, make sure you're well-hydrated before and after your session. Avoid getting cupping therapy in the same area for 24-48 hours.

  • My work supports relaxation, recovery, muscular tension relief, and nervous system health. While therapeutic, massage is not a substitute for medical care, and I can’t diagnose or treat illness. If you have serious illness or injury please seek medical care prior to booking.

  • New clients will receive an online intake form after booking. Please complete it before your session — or arrive 10 minutes early to fill it out in-person. Honest, up-to-date info helps me create a safe and effective treatment plan that actually works for you.

  • For anyone under 18, a parent or legal guardian must help complete the intake paperwork and give verbal consent. They’re welcome to stay in the room during treatment if that’s preferred. I’ll go over everything and what they can expect prior to starting the session.

  • You're an active part of your care. Please speak up during your session if any technique feels uncomfortable so I can adjust accordingly.

Make sure to let me know about any health conditions or changes so I can adjust your session safely. I may decline to treat if massage isn’t appropriate for your situation — that’s just part of keeping you safe and making sure you get the best care possible.

  • I don’t have a receptionist, so text is usually the fastest way to reach me. If I miss your call, leave a message and I’ll get back to you.

All appointments take place in-office (unless otherwise arranged) inside Axis Chiropractic in Whitemarsh Island.

  • A card is required to book and all payments are processed securely through PocketSuite. If you have questions about a charge or need support, just let me know.

    • 3-month minimum commitment

    • 30-day notice required to cancel

    • Roll over missed sessions to next month (will not twice in a row)

    • Applies to 60-minute in-office sessions only

    • Early cancellations (before 3 months) include a $25 fee

    • Memberships do not apply to house-calls or packages

    • Individual plans can’t transfer sessions between clients (See the Family Wellness Plan)

See more details about the membership here.

    • Packages expire 90 days from purchase

    • Not transferable between clients or applicable to house-calls

    • All sales are final; packages apply to in-office sessions only

  • Please avoid smoking or drinking alcohol before your session. If you take prescription pain meds, avoid taking them right beforehand — massage may change how your body responds. Hydrate before and after your session to help your body reset.
